Ken Ham is founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis and its two life-changing attractions, the highly acclaimed Creation Museum, and the world-renowned Ark Encounter. Ken is a biblical apologist and author of more than 30 books. Some of his latest include Divine Dilemma (understanding death, disease, and suffering), Divided Nation (about today’s culture wars), and the devotional commentary Creation to Babel. Ken is a blogger and speaker on Answers…with Ken Ham.
Ken described the climate change movement as a religious, anti-God movement that causes man to become his own God. In this regard he described the time last year when John Kerry returned from the World Economic Forum. Kerry described how there’s an elite group of people that will save mankind and the planet. That’s unbiblical because it’s God who saves, not man.
So just as with the creation/evolution issue, the beliefs of people determine their worldview. That in turn determines how they’ll view things like fossils, life, or in the case of this broadcast…climate. It appears to be all about fear mongering in order to obtain control.
Why do we need carbon dioxide in the atmosphere? Why is water vapor so important? Why is there an emphasis on not eating meat and not having children among the climate change crowd? Can man destroy the earth? Hasn’t the climate always been changing? Does observational science compare with the information put forth by those spreading fear of climate change? Ken answers these questions, as he describes his new book, on this edition of Crosstalk.
