The Yankton Community Library will be celebrating Banned Books Week Sept. 22-28.
Established in 1982, Banned Books Week is an annual event that highlights the value of free and open access to information. During Banned Books Week, people celebrate the freedom to read, express ideas and become “Freed Between the Lines.”
