TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – Dozens of authors from a range of genres will all be in one place next weekend.
The 13th annual Kansas Book Festival is schedule for Washburn University.
The festival’s director Tim Bascom visited Eye on NE Kansas to share the details.
More than 50 authors are scheduled to take part in presentations and panel discussions. Bascom says the festival puts an emphasis on books written by people who either live in Kansas or are native Kansans, along with books where the subject matter has to do with Kansas.
Attendees also will be able to visit dozens of vendors.
The 13th annual Kansas Book Festival runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Washburn University. Events and activities are free. Find the full lineup and schedule at KansasBookFestival.com.
