Kit Harington‘s supernatural thriller The Beast Within will be available to watch in the UK very soon, but only on streaming.
Following its cinema release in the US last July, the movie will land exclusively on Paramount+ in the UK on October 11.
Directed by Alexander J. Farrell, the film follows 10-year-old Willow (played by Caoilinn Springall) as she uncovers the secrets of her family’s isolated life in the English wilds.

After a series of strange events at home, Willow follows her mysterious parents to the middle of an ancient forest during one of their secret late-night walks, which she’s been noticing for a while.
When she witnesses her father (Harington) undergo a terrifying transformation, “she too becomes ensnared by the dark ancestral secret they’ve tried so desperately to conceal”, reads the synopsis.
Filmed in Harewood Woods and Castle in West Yorkshire, England, last year, The Beast Within also stars Ashleigh Cummings, James Cosmo, Miriam Arabella Maslin and Adam Basil.

Following its US release, the movie received mostly negative reviews, landing a 40% Rotten Tomatoes rating (from 42 reviews) and an audience rating of 57%.
As the reviews aggregator sums up: “Somewhere inside The Beast Within lies a clever riff on the werewolf genre, but it struggles to claw through a lack of incident and specificity.”
Harington, mostly known for his role of Jon Snow in HBO’s hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, is now receiving praise for his performance in season 3 of Industry.
In it, he plays British aristocrat Lord Henry Muck, who is the CEO of green energy company Lumi. The show was released on HBO in August, and it’s arriving on the BBC on October 1.
The Beast Within will be available to watch on Paramount+ in the UK from October 11.
