SAGINAW, Mich – Celebrate 85 years of the caped crusader by visiting your local comic book shop for Batman Day.
Participating stores are offering a free batman issue with any purchase.
“It’s an opportunity for us to celebrate one of the biggest, most influential comic book characters of all time, and it’s also an opportunity for us to introduce people who are new to the comics,” said Brandi Blahnik, co-owner of Coy’s comics in Saginaw. “If you have never read a Batman comic, it’s the perfect time to pick up a Batman comic, since they’re free and you can check them out.”
In addition to the free comic, Coy’s comics is also offering 20% off qualifying DC items.
Coy’s will be celebrating batman day from 11 am- 7pm on September 21st.
