BOISE, Idaho – Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) plans to travel to Japan and Taiwan in November to coordinate agricultural trade opportunities.
According to Little’s office, he joined a trade delegation from Japan and visited a potato manufacturing plant on Thursday. The governor hopes to create new potato export opportunities between the Gem State and Asia.
Little will travel to Japan and Taiwan in November, with a focus on fresh potato exports.
“Here in Idaho, we are extremely proud of our agricultural industry, which remains the backbone of our economy,” Little said.
