The pioneer coach who began the rich Cleveland High football tradition before becoming a top local businessman for the past half dozen decades leaves a lasting local legacy with his passing early this morning.
Growing up a “farm boy” from the Blue Springs area, where he still lived, Bobby Scott was not only a standout player at Bradley Central and the lead blocker for Tennessee Vol legend Johnny Majors, but returned home to direct the first 13 years of Blue Raider gridiron success.
