Bryce Connole and Chelsea Wood knew they didn’t want to live a traditional lifestyle dogged by routine and servicing a mortgage — so they hit the road.
Five years ago, the couple packed up their lives and their beloved dog Juice and have since been travelling around Australia, living in a caravan.

Plumber Bryce and Chelsea, a hospitality worker, usually stop for a couple of months a year to save money.
But the rest of the time they derive a living posting about their adventures on social media.
On Thursday, Bryce and Chelsea appeared alongside Nat and Shirvo on Sunrise, speaking about their lifestyle.
“My parents actually had a big influence on us wanting to travel,” Wood said.
“They used to take me out of school every year to travel around Australia, and then I just wanted to do the same. So I convinced Bryce pretty much as soon as we met to tow a caravan around Australia.”
The couple said they chose to live a mortgage-free lifestyle.
They met in South Australia at a caravan park as kids, before choosing to embark on an adventure themselves.
And they said grey nomads (retirees caravanning across the country) they encountered were often envious, telling them they wished they had started travelling earlier in their lives.
The pair is currently in Exmouth, in Western Australia, which they praised as their favourite place in Australia.
“The snorkeling, the reef is straight off the beach from you. Wales jumping in the water. It’s just amazing every time you look into the ocean there’s something new,” Wood said.
Meanwhile, Connole encouraged anyone thinking of hitting the road, to give it a try.
“Just have a crack — get out and do it,” he said.
“We’ve just been able to make it work.
“It’s just a goal we’ve had so long to go and travel Australia.
“We did it for 12 months. We thought, we haven’t even scratched the surface yet. We thought we’d keep going. We’ve been able to make it work.”
