ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Honoring the contributions of women in business, the Greater Rockford Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2024 Women in Business Awards.
The awards will be presented at the annual Women In Business Luncheon as part of the Pow(H)er event on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Embassy Suites in Rockford.
Chamber President Caitlin Pusateri says the event is not just a women’s conference, everyone is welcome.
“It’s so empowering,” Pusateri says. “So often, men and women do great work that isn’t recognized. So anytime you have an opportunity to recognize great work that someone does, it just really boosts their self-esteem and helps them to keep going and keep doing what they’re doing and inspire others as well.”
