SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol is investigating a freeway shooting Tuesday afternoon.
According to CHP, northbound Business 80, north of J Street, was temporarily closed at H Street due to the shooting investigation. Police said officers were canvassing the area for any possible evidence. Business 80 at J Street has reopened.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting. Police said this appears to be an isolated incident with no danger to the public.
