Michelle Keegan is on the brink of Hollywood stardom.
The 37-year-old former Coronation Street star has caught the eye of movie bosses in Tinseltown after her Netflix show Fool Me Once took the world by storm. It’s reportedly left industry chiefs clamouring to discuss potential lead roles with her.
Harlan Coben, who collaborated with Michelle on Fool Me Once, found himself inundated with requests for her contact and didn’t hold back in his praise for the actress. Talking to the Daily Star, he said: “Michelle is so talented. She’s a great person to work with. Executives in Hollywood are always asking me, ‘How do I get in touch with Michelle?'”
Michelle’s track record of TV hits since departing from the cobbles of Weatherfield is impressive, having starred in successes such as Our Girl, Ten Pound Poms, and Brassic. Moreover, Fool Me Once has become the year’s most-watched series on Netflix.
Echoing Coben’s praises, top TV producer Danny Brocklehurst who’s worked with Keegan multiple times noted the soaring demand for her talents, saying: “I think there’s a very high chance we won’t be able to get her for TV shows in the future.”

The praise continued with Harlan highlighting Michelle’s genuine appeal, stating: “People can sense the authenticity and the kindness with Michelle. And it’s legit. She’s a really wonderful person. Every day on the set of Fool Me Once, she brought a smile and energy. Audiences can sense that she’s great. It’s real with her.”
Danny wrapped up by saying: “Michelle has surprised people with the level of her success, particularly with Fool Me Once.” Michelle recently enjoyed the National Television Awards alongside hubby Mark Wright. However, while some famous faces hit the tiles and partied the night away, the loved-up couple enjoyed a much quieter end to the night.
The duo were seen cosying up in bed tucking into a meal to bring the curtain down on their glitzy bash. Mark shared the snap on his Instagram Stories. His followers were able to see the couple had Netflix on in the background as well as a plate of noodles each with cheese on top and mayonnaise on the side.
The couple’s adorable pet pooch was also seen in the background. The upload came after Michelle had narrowly missed out on taking home one of the coveted NTA gongs. She had been nominated for three awards with her programme Brassic nominated for the comedy category. Sadly for Michelle, the show lost out to Mrs Brown’s Boys.
The actress also received a nomination of her own for her role in Fool Me Once, while the series was also noted in the new drama category.
