Warner Robins, Ga (WGXA) – Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners from across Middle Georgia gathered today for a unique opportunity to network and learn how to grow their businesses. The City of Warner Robins, in partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA), hosted its first-ever “Small Business Takeoff” event at the Museum of Aviation.
Attendees had the chance to connect with local government leaders and industry experts, while several vendors provided information on resources designed to help small businesses thrive. Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda Patrick emphasized the importance of events like this for the local business community, saying that they offer invaluable insights.
“This administration is a big supporter of small businesses. As an entrepreneur myself, I understand the challenges that business owners face, and I know what our community needs to thrive,” said Patrick. Allen Thomas of the SBA also spoke highly of the city’s supportive environment. “Warner Robins is a great community because of its regional connections and the presence of Robins Air Force Base. While we’re not in the Atlanta area, Central Georgia offers unique opportunities for growth. This event saw the largest turnout we’ve ever experienced.”
More than 200 people attended the event, which was free and open to the public, highlighting the strong interest in small business development across the region.
