Actor Suriya, who is currently awaiting the release of his film Kanguva in November, has already begun shooting for his next film, Suriya 44. Now as per latest reports, it is suggested that Suriya is all set to join hands with filmmaker-actor RJ Balaji for Suriya 45. However, an official announcement on the collaboration is yet to be made.

Actor Suriya is one of the most famous Tamil stars. The actor is awaiting the release of Kanguva, while is also simultaneously shooting for his film with director Karthik Subbaraj. As per the latest buzz, it is expected that Suriya will work with RJ Balaji in a film, in the capacity of an actor-director. However, the buzz is not yet been confirmed by the concerned parties so far.
Reports doing round suggest that RJ Balaji will be directing Suriya for the first time, which will be bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures production banner. It is rumoured that Suriya 45 story was narrated to Vijay as Thalapathy 69, and since it did not materialise, RJ Balaji has approached Suriya for the project. It will be indeed interesting to see how the project will shape up, given RJ Balaji is known for a certain brand of humour.

Suriya was last seen in as Rolex in Vikram, making an impactful guest appearance. However, the actor’s last full fledged theatre release was Etharkkum Thunindhavan in 2022. Suriya is now expecting the release of Kanguva, the upcoming Siruthai Siva directorial which is scheduled to hit theatres on November 14.
Meanwhile, Suriya is also working with filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for the first time in Suriya 44. The film is touted to be a gangster drama and the production is underway. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Karunakaran, and Joju George in other pivotal roles. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
