Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan attended and addressed the 5th Caspian Business Forum on the topic of “Building a sustainable future in the Caspian through connectivity and climate action”, Azerbaijani MFA said on its X account, APA reports.
Deputy Foreign Minister highlighted the approach of Azerbaijan towards expanding connectivity which is transforming from land-locked country into land-linked country.
Mr. Mammadov also provided detailed information regarding Azerbaijan’s efforts for development of Middle, North-South corridors, as well as Digital Silk Way project.
Deputy FM also talked about green-initiatives of Azerbaijan launched in liberated territories which have been declared as “green energy zones” by our country.
Azerbaijan’s COP29 presidency initiatives regarding balancing conventional and clean energy for a just, orderly and equitable transition, as well as close engagement with all international partners to advance climate action transitioning to green energy were also brought to the attention.
