The Federal Antimonopoly Service has recognized inappropriate advertising of an account for Alfa-Bank’s business. This is stated in the message of the FAS.
The Antimonopoly Service has opened a case against the bank, which can be fined in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the FAS received complaints from citizens about Alfa-Bank’s advertising, which was distributed in the Moscow metro. It contained the following statements: “Payments and transfers for businesses for 0 rubles.” However, it was stated on the bank’s official website that such conditions apply only to customers with a subscription, and the limit on free transfers and payments to individuals is 10 million rubles per month.
According to the FAS, such actions of the bank may mislead consumers and contain signs of violation of the law on advertising.
