Fans of the much-loved British claymation characters Wallace and Gromit are in for a treat as Netflix and the BBC have just dropped the trailer for their latest cinematic adventure. Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl marks the iconic pair’s sixth film outing and their first since A Matter of Loaf and Death, which was released 16 years ago.
The film is directed by Nick Park, the original creator and animator of the duo, ensuring that fans can expect the same charm and wit that has defined the series. The festive premiere is set for Christmas Day on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with a subsequent release on Netflix in the new year.
Social media has been abuzz with anticipation following the trailer’s release, with fans expressing their eagerness to catch up with the beloved characters. “I’ll have a bucket of cheese ready instead of popcorn,” one fan quipped on social media, referencing Wallace’s infamous cheese obsession.

The upcoming film sees the return of the notorious penguin, Feathers McGraw, the villainous mastermind from the duo’s first film, The Wrong Trousers, released back in 1993. This time around, after a spate of garden thefts rocks the local community, Wallace and his intelligent gnome companion, Norbot, find themselves as prime suspects. It’s down to Wallace and his loyal dog Gromit to confront the nefarious forces at play and clear Wallace’s name.
Ben Whitehead will be back to lend his voice to Wallace, while Peter Kay is also set to return as Chief Inspector Macintosh. The film’s voice cast will be bolstered by new additions including Diane Morgan from Motherland, Adjoa Andoh of Bridgerton fame, Lauren Patel known for Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, and the legendary Lenny Henry.
