Queen WAG Coleen Rooney is making a significant career shift as she steps into the business world.
The TV personality is set to launch her own range of Applied Nutrition wellness products. The wife of football legend Wayne Rooney, rumoured to be joining the next series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, has made a substantial investment in the global health and wellbeing brand, Applied Nutrition.
This follows her ambassadorial role for the company’s popular collagen, vitamin, and protein products earlier this year. A strong advocate for health and wellness, Coleen is leaving her glamorous WAG life behind to focus on her new venture. Liverpool-based Applied Nutrition is renowned for its high-quality products that have gained popularity among fitness enthusiasts worldwide.
Not just investing, Coleen is also planning to launch her own line of wellbeing products in collaboration with Applied Nutrition in 2025. An insider close to the deal revealed, “This move showcases her ambition and determination to transcend her celebrity status. Coleen is not just a pretty face; she’s a savvy businesswoman and could be about to make waves in a booming industry.
“The partnership with Applied Nutrition is a great move for her given the phenomenal growth of the company in recent years. Having her on board is a massive win for the brand too. Her involvement has certainly captured the attention of female fitness and wellbeing fanatics. The Coleen Rooney range being launched in January is set to be in high demand. There are big plans in place – watch this space!”
In the meantime, ahead of her rumoured participation in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity, Coleen has been occupied filming a major new TV advert to promote her partnership with the health brand. It is scheduled to air on prime-time TV in January. The insider added: “It has been a busy few weeks preparing for this business announcement and filming has taken place all over the North West for a brand new commercial featuring Coleen and all of her favourite Applied Nutrition products. It is a big deal for everyone involved.”
ITV bosses are said to be hoping Coleen will spill the beans on the Wagatha Christie saga during her time in the jungle. Rebekah, wife of Leicester City footballer Jamie Vardy, took Coleen to court for libel in 2022 when she was accused of leaking stories from Coleen’s private social media account to the press but lost.
An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “I’m A Celeb bosses have pulled off a huge coup getting Coleen for the jungle this year and the team are thrilled to have her on board. She’s always been a massive fan of the show and loves watching it with her boys. ITV are over the moon that the stars have aligned this year and she can fit it in. The series is set to be one of the best yet.” The source added: “Coleen has a huge fanbase and she won massive plaudits for her classy handling of the Wagatha Christie case.”
