The Central Canada Film Group will be showing another movie at the Hapnot Theatre tonight and the group’s Colin Davis tells us this is a really recent film that has won some awards.
” Every now and then we like to show something that has been popular at one of the International Film Festivals. This Friday we are pleased to prsent a film that was a real hit at the Cannes Film Festival that won for best actor in the film Perfect Days. It is a story of a man who cleans public washrooms in Tokyo, and you might think that is something I want to watch. The story isn’t based so much on what he does for a living but how he lives his life. No super heroes, no great acts of courage, no wild strokes of luck, just life and living every day. At the end is it Enough? In this slice of life feature it will hold your attention with it’s strangely compelling story.”
Doors will open at 7. Show will start at 7:30 and snacks and drinks will be available. Remember the show is absolutely free.
