The finalists of the Sabre Brunei Travel Fair 2024, organised by Sabre Travel Network Brunei, were rewarded for their participation at a prize presentation ceremony held at a restaurant in Kampong Manggis. The event was attended by Sabre representatives and industry partners.
Sabre Travel Network Brunei General Manager Abdul Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman welcomed attendees and announced that the recently concluded fair attracted over 12,000 visitors. He expressed gratitude to the fair’s partners and participants for their continued support.
The lucky draw was witnessed by representatives from several local businesses and organisations including Baiduri Bank, Cityneon Displays and Construction Sdn Bhd, imagine Sdn Bhd, Royal Brunei Airlines (RB), Takaful Brunei Am Sdn Bhd, Tourism Malaysia and participating travel agents.
Sabre’s winners included Anita Ahmad, Haji Roslan Othman, Haji Md Fakhurazi bin Haji Hidup and Huong Lok Xin, who won various prizes including a 55-inch Smart TV, a 43-inch Smart TV, an Honor Pad 9 and a travel luggage bag. Abdul Halim presented the prizes.
RB awarded return air tickets to Jakarta, Manila, Nanning and Hong Kong to Ong Teck Chung, Abdul Malik bin Abu Talip, Zaitul Hizanah Ismail and Bhavika M Punjabi. Representing RB were Regional Manager for Borneo Lim Guat Wen, Marketing Manager Ali Rahim bin Haji Abdul Rani and Acting Sales Manager for Brunei Norhaslindawati Duraman.
Imagine, through Senior Vice President Haji Mohd Radziman bin Haji Abdul Rahman, presented travel vouchers to Norsyaaza Qastina Shelmyzah, Nadzirah binti Haji Jaafar and Sahnaliesa binti Sahril.
Takaful Brunei Am rewarded Koh Chui Hong with an annual Musafir (Travel) Takaful and Siti Amirah binti Jeludin with a Tourister luggage. Takaful Brunei Am Chief Operation Officer Barudin bin Haji Kudil presented the prizes. – Lyna Mohamad
