CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – Two firefighters were injured after a fire caused several explosions at a Canton business Sunday.
According to a release from Canton Fire Department, firefighters were called to the 1800 block of Wallace Avenue NE, Hey Neighbor Heating & Cooling, just after 7:15 p.m.
The firefighters found a “heavy” fire which caused a partial roof collapse at the business, the release said.
Oxygen tanks and acetylene inside the facility caused several explosions as well, according to the release.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries, the release said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
