EqualOcean has learned that Saudi Arabia’s national tourism brand, “Saudi Welcome to Arabia” will host a large-scale immersive consumer event, the “Saudi Travel Festival” at Beijing’s Temple of Heaven Park from October 18 to 26, 2024, running daily from 12 AM to 8 PM. This event aims to provide Chinese visitors with a deeper understanding of Saudi Arabia’s rich culture and traditions. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience the charm of Saudi Arabia through interactive cultural booths, live performances, and exclusive travel offers.
The Saudi Tourism Authority will use the “Saudi Travel Festival” to showcase various Saudi tourist attractions. Chinese visitors can learn more about distinctive destinations and activities, including Diriyah, the Red Sea, Jeddah, NEOM, and events such as music festivals and the annual Riyadh Season celebration. Additionally, attendees will be able to experience traditional Saudi craftsmanship like Sadu weaving, enjoy music played on unique Saudi instruments, and witness the traditional Ardah dance performance, offering an immersive journey into Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage.
Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority, stated: “I am honored to be in Beijing to inaugurate the ‘Saudi Travel Festival’ and present Saudi Arabia’s premium tourism resources and rich cultural heritage to the people of China.
