“Rare Disease from A to Z”
Former Fargoan Hailey Adkisson released her second book last month and this time, she’s tackling 26 rare disease in an easy-to-understand way. Her first book, “What Is Epilepsy? Now she’s addressing many more rare diseases, teaming up again with illustrator Kelsey Diaz to provide fun but medically accurate depictions. The books are part of the Simply Complex Stories series that aims to provide kids and adults with accurate information that will foster empathy and understanding.
