Lubber Pandhu, the 2024 Tamil film starring Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh in the lead roles, has finally locked its OTT premiere date. As we had earlier reported, Disney+ Hotstar has bagged the digital streaming rights. The platform recently announced that the cricket family drama will premiere on October 31.

Lubber Pandhu is a 2024 sports family drama featuring actors Harish Kalyan and Attakathi Dinesh in the lead roles. Lubber Pandhu is directed by filmmaker Tamizharasan Pachamuthu. It marks his directorial debut. It also features actors Swaswika, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Geetha Kailasam and others in important roles.
Lubber Pandhu is a sports drama about two men, with one of them being in love with the daughter of another. As their egos clash over a game of cricket, the family drama unfolds and the cricket pitch becomes the showcase of their rivalry. Lubber Pandhu released in theatres on September 20 and following its theatrical run, will be available on Disney+ Hotstar from October 31 onwards.

Lubber Pandhu opened to positive reception upon its release and went on to become a box-office success as well. Many praised the film for its screenplay writing, and the cast performances, hailing Lubber Pandhu as one of the best sports- drama to have come out in Tamil cinema.
