Purple Hair Productions is proud to announce the Northeast U.S. theatrical premiere of their first feature film “ZOMBEEZ”. The premiere is set to take place starting Friday at 7 p.m. at the Dunkirk Multiplex, 10520 Bennett Road, Dunkirk, NY 14048.

Local filmmaker Nick Smith will introduce the premiere. Smith produced the feature film, which blends humor, romance, and undead mutant killer insects in a cinematic love letter to bee-movies.
When honeybee hives start dying off and bodies start piling up in a small, coastal town, local coroner Jess Johnson (Elesia Marie) is forced to team up with scientist Jake Simmonds (Durrell D. Bennett) who left her at the altar years ago, to solve this deadly mystery.
ZOMBEEZ is written and directed by Elesia Marie (Powerless). It is produced by SUNY Fredonia and JCC Film Professor Nick Smith (Charlie’s Angels, The Little Vampire), and features Ann Marie Crouch (Power Rangers Wild Force), Shannon Williams (American Horror Story), and Teance Blackburn (The Map of Tiny Perfect Things). It is co-produced by Purple Hair Productions and Krygell Films.
