PADUCAH — The McCracken County Public Library will host a former NBA and University of Kentucky basketball player for a meet-and-greet and book signing event at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.
According to the library, UK basketball player Jack “Goose” Givens will appear in the Library Meeting Room to share his experiences, answer questions, and sign his book, “They Call Me Goose: My Life in Kentucky Basketball and Beyond.”
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees may pre-purchase a hardcover copy of Givens’ book for $38 or a t-shirt for $20 online. A limited number of books and shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
The event is held in partnership with the McCracken County University of Kentucky Alumni Club.
