Students from Welch Elementary took a behind-the-scenes tour of the school’s cafeteria as part of the class’ focus on real-world businesses.
Mary Thompson’s fifth grade gifted class has learned about proper management skills for successfully operating a business. A recent assignment tasked students with creating business plans for their own personal business ideas, which included building models of their businesses, making menus, and determining the materials needed to get the business started.
