Kriti played the double role of Shailee and Soumya. In the movie, Shailee felt the world was on Soumya’s side so her jealousy began from cutting her sister’s hair as a child, and transcended to seducing Soumya’s boyfriend Dhruv (Shaheer Sheikh). Dhruv, a rich spoiled brat, decided to marry Soumya following his father’s ultimatum after losing a business deal.
