The Kamloops & District Chamber of Commerce handed out hardware on Thursday night recognizing the best in the local business community.
The 38th annual Business Excellence Awards banquet was held at the Grand Hall on Thompson Rivers University’s campus.
“The Business Excellence Awards provide a fantastic opportunity to recognize and celebrate the exceptional businesses and individuals that contribute to the vibrancy and success of the Kamloops area,” Acacia Pangilinan, executive director of the chamber, said in a news release.
“We are thrilled for the finalists and winners, whose resilience, innovation, and excellence have shone through, encouraging us all to aim higher and celebrate the strength of our community. Their efforts inspire us all, and it was truly special to come together in celebration of the vibrant diversity and strength of the businesses in the Kamloops region.”
Vivacity Technologies took home the top prize, Business of the Year, while Rick Kurzac of Kamloops Home Hardware Building Centre was named 2024 Businessperson of the Year.
