The monthly SALS book sale is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the SALS annex at 140 School St. in Oak Hill.
Holiday books, collected over the year, will be featured along with crafts, cookbooks, activities and fiction featuring Thanksgiving and Christmas themes.
Additionally, SALS will have its regular selection of popular fiction, thrillers, mysteries, biographies, paranormal fiction, politics, military history, self-help, religious and inspirational books, geography and travel, and a special section on movies and movie stars.
There is a section of classical literature as well along with a selection of children’s books and a small young adult section.
Most books are priced at 50 cents for paperbacks and $1 for hardbacks. Popular romances are 25 cents each.
A recent donation is a United States stamp album that includes stamps from the 1930s and 1940s. There are some stamps which apparently were issued as far back as the 1870s. Most of the stamps are used and show cancellation marks, but some have not been used.
SALS is inviting all to inspect the album and make an offer.
The annex is handicap accessible.
