LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The man charged with killing two Vietnamese tourists in their Las Vegas hotel room six years ago has been convicted of their murders.
After hearing more than two weeks of testimony, the jury returned a guilty verdict Tuesday against Julius Trotter for the deaths of Khuong Ba Le Nguyen and Sang Boi Nghia in 2018.
Authorities alleged Trotter, now 37, entered their room at Circus Circus after finding the lock was broken and stabbed them to death.
The penalty phase will continue on Wednesday. Prosecutors are seeking a death sentence.
