Sephra has announced a partnership with Ferrero which will see it bring Nutella dispensers to the UK and Irish market.
Launched in Europe during 2003, the Kirkcaldy-based business has grown from distributing chocolate fountains to offering an expanding array of professional dessert equipment and ingredients.
It has now secured exclusive rights to supply dispensers designed in the shape of a Nutella jar, which are increasingly used in hotel buffets, bakeries and dessert parlours.
Available in both electric and manual versions, the dispensers have the ability to warm the hazelnut chocolate spread to the right fluidity for filling, coating and topping pastries and desserts. Servings are dispensed in a 15g size, ensuring consistent portion sizes and reducing waste.
Zareen Deboo, foodservice channel operators manager for Ferrero UK & Ireland, added: “Shaped like our iconic jars, our dispensers give operators a new way to drive those impulse purchases while consumers are out-of-home, and benefit from the big brand power of the Nutella name.”
David Archer, managing director of Sephra Europe, said: “As a key food and ingredient supplier to bakeries, hotels, cafes and dessert parlours, Sephra is perfectly positioned to support operators.
“Both machines and the cartridges are available through our website and can be ordered for next-day delivery in mainland UK.“
Archer began renting out chocolate fountains, which he modified and improved, before in 2008 partnering with the original Sephra in the US, becoming a distributor under the Sephra Europe banner.
In 2019, Sephra Europe acquired the brand from the original Sephra across the pond.
