Silambarasan, who was last seen in the Tamil film Pathu Thala, has announced a new Tamil movie. The film will be helmed by filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu, who is currently working with Pradeep Ranganathan in Dragon. Silambarasan’s new film will be backed by AGS Productions. The upcoming project will mark the first time Ashwath will be working with Silambarasan. Other cast and crew details of the film have not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, Silambarasan is also part of the upcoming Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan project, Thug Life, in which he plays a pivotal role.
