Saltburn star Barry Keoghan has been spotted for the first time on the Peaky Blinders set – as filming for the hotly anticipated movie gets underway.
Filming alongside Sophie Rundle – who is reprising her role as Ada Thorne – and Hollywood royalty Tim Roth – the Dunkirk actor certainly looks the part, wearing a flatcap, grey suit and overcoat.
Cameras are rolling on the big screen production in Yorkshire, with Rundle seen sporting a red coat and skirt with matching lipstick and hat, walking alongside up-and-coming actor Kasper Hilton-Hille.
Onlookers saw Keoghan closely following Rundle into a building in Bradford. Roth’s character – a Peaky Blinders newcomer – was then seen arriving at the building carrying a gun before emerging with the leather bag Ada was carrying on the way in.
One fan said: “It doesn’t look good for Ada. I hope she’s not meeting a sticky end.”
Star Cillian Murphy and writer Steven Knight are also reportedly back for the Netflix movie, alongside director Tom Harper, who worked on the show’s first series. Netflix revealed the show was coming back as a movie in June, adding that production would start this year.
The TV series was filmed across the North West – with Bolton’s historic Le Mans Crescent used as a backdrop for many scenes. Netflix cameras have already been seen filming in Liverpool earlier this year.
