November 30 – Celebrate Small Business Saturday in York!
Kick off your holiday shopping by supporting York’s vibrant small business community this November 30! Small Business Saturday promises an exciting array of events and promotions across participating local businesses.
Stop by Mack’s Golden Grounds from 10 a.m. to noon for a pop-up event featuring coffee and unique offerings. McLean Beef will serve breakfast and lunch while allowing shoppers to build their own gift boxes for a personalized touch. Mr. Dukes Mercantile will run a fun Koozie promotion, and the Sun Theatre invites families for a $1 screening of “The Greatest Showman.” To add to the holiday magic, Wagner Decorating will host Santa Claus for kids and families to meet. The York Chamber team will set up, serving hot cider and offering light activities for children.
The Chamber will again distribute thousands of dollars in gift cards for participating businesses to hand out. Shoppers spending $20 or more may receive a thank-you bag containing a gift card to a local business (while supplies last). Look out for the coveted golden ticket inside some bags, which offers a gift card valued at over $50! To allow as many shoppers as possible to receive these bags, guests are encouraged to accept only one thank-you bag for the day.
