November 1, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Monday, October 27, 2024, at 1:16 p.m., deputies assigned to the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to a business in the 12000 block of Day Street, Moreno Valley, for a report of a male subject who surreptitiously took photographs underneath a woman’s skirt as she was shopping. The subject was confronted by other patrons as he took the photographs, and he immediately began to walk towards the exit of the business. Deputies arrived and contacted the subject. On October 30, 2024, investigators served a search warrant at a residence in the 25600 block of Calamity Lane, in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Homeland. Several electronic items were collected during the search warrant service. The suspect, Jose Antonio Gutierrez, a 59-year-old resident of Homeland, was arrested and later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on charges related to invasion of privacy.
