B. Riley Financial is selling a portion of its wealth management business to Stifel Financial for as much as $35 million as the troubled financial-services company continues to try to ease its debt burden.
Stifel is expected to acquire 40 to 50 financial advisors overseeing $3.5 billion to $4.5 billion in assets through the transaction, the companies say.
