Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has launched its promotional campaign for the Celebrate Bahrain 2024 season, which is set to boost the tourism sector of the Kingdom.
Celebrate Bahrain 2024 season will feature a lineup of events and entertainment activities throughout December. The Heritage Village Festival, Muharraq Nights Festival, and Manama Nights will highlight Bahrain’s distinctive identity. The exciting festivals will include fireworks display across the Kingdom’s eight locations.
Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism and Chairperson of BTEA, highlighted the authority’s commitment to providing an exceptional season this year that showcases Bahrain’s unique identity.
“We aim to present innovative and diverse events that cater to all age groups, fulfilling the aspirations of citizens, residents and visitors to the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are also keen to spotlight Bahrain’s rich historical heritage and offer a comprehensive tourism experience through Celebrate Bahrain, with the objective of enhancing Bahrain’s position as a leading tourism destination in the region. We hope that this exceptional season will positively impact the attraction of more tourists to the Kingdom, in a way that contributes to economic development and achieving the goals of the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.”

“Celebrate Bahrain this year will include a variety of activities aimed at reviving authentic Bahraini culture and providing an exceptional experience. The season represents a unique opportunity to reinforce Bahrain’s position as the preferred tourism destination in the region, especially with celebrations that will feature fireworks illuminating the skies of the Kingdom in eight different locations. The heights of the displays will be increased to offer citizens, residents, and visitors an exceptional experience to view the shows from multiple angles,” added Sara Ahmed Buhiji.
In addition to collaborations with a select group of Bahrain’s social media influencers, the promotional campaign of 2024 season will begin with comprehensive tourism packages and promotional initiatives in key target markets.
The Muharraq Nights Festival, organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), will take place along the Pearling Path, from the Bu Maher Coast to the Pearling Museum, Siyadi Majlis.
All houses along the path will open their doors to festival attendees, showcasing exhibitions and exceptional collections that tell the stories of the Kingdom’s flourishing pearl economy era.
The Muharraq Nights will offer an unforgettable experience for everyone at the “Pearling, Testimony of an Island Economy”, which is included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
Furthermore, BTEA is set to revitalize the Old Manama Souq through the Manama Nights events, and the activities will also include the Heritage Village Festival, along with several unique musical performances and theatrical shows.
