MUSCAT : Led by His Excellency Eng. Masoud bin Saeed Al Hashimi, Governor of South Al Batinah and Chairman of the Forum’s Organizing Committee, the event aims to showcase the rich cultural, tourism, and entertainment potential of South Al Batinah through a lineup of engaging activities.
“Holding such forums or festivals aims to introduce the attractive tourism components and unique natural, historical and heritage sites that each governorate of the Sultanate of Oman enjoys. South Al Batinah Governorate has many components that make it an attraction for many tourists due to its tourism and heritage nature. He pointed out that the tourism aspect is of great importance, as the forum seeks to attract many visitors and tourists to introduce the components that distinguish all the governorate’s wilayats,” stated His Excellency.
Involving the private sector and local communities, the forum seeks to invigorate the economic, tourism, entertainment, and cultural aspects of South Al Batinah, strengthening national identity and celebrating historical heritage. “These forums are an opportunity to promote all the governorate’s states, and to encourage investments, in addition to holding many tourism and entertainment events and activities that will benefit all segments of society in the governorate, especially entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium enterprises that need all support and all facilities” he added.
The event will take place in Khabat Al Qadhan, known for its scenic sands and prime location along the expressway connecting South Al Batinah to Muscat, which consistently draws tourists throughout the year. This scenic setting underscores the governorate’s charm and accessibility for visitors from all parts of Oman.
