The Christmas season is starting early with Meet Me Next Christmas, a new holiday rom-com now available to watch on Netflix.
The film stars Christina Milian, who has become a familiar face in the streamer’s romantic section thanks to movies like Falling Inn Love and Resort to Love.
In the movie, Milian plays Layla, a woman desperate to find a ticket for the sold-out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert in New York City. At the show, she’s hoping to reconnect with the man of her dreams.

Milian is joined in the cast by Devale Ellis, Kofi Siriboe and Tymika Tafari, as well as the popular a cappella group Pentatonix, who play themselves. The film is directed by Rusty Cundieff and written by Molly Haldeman and Camilla Rubis.
In an interview with Tudum, Milian described Meet Me Next Christmas as a “treasure hunt for love” during the Christmas season.
“There’s a sense of magic, love, and anticipation that’s happening through the whole movie. You just never know who they’re going to run into or what’s going to happen next,” she said.
The actor describes her character Layla as “a girl that knows what she wants” with “a good head on her shoulders.”
