It’s not just the 365 beaches. As they like to say in Antigua and Barbuda, the beach is just the beginning. Maybe it’s the world-class sailing. Or the snorkeling. Or the cutting-edge food scene (make sure you try Restaurant Week in 2025). Or the history.
Whatever the reason, Antigua and Barbuda has been one of the fastest-growing destinations in the Caribbean this year, and that includes a sizable boost in demand from the European market.
Now, another European carrier is returning to the island, with the launch this week of Condor’s flights from Frankfurt to Antigua.
It’s the first service to Antigua on Condor since the pandemic, officials confirmed to Caribbean Journal.
The route will be operating year round, running through May 6, 2025 — in other words, for the peak winter tourist season.
Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Minister Charles Fernandez told Caribbean Journal that Germany was actually Antigua’s second-strongest European market. More importantly, the route opens up access to Antigua for travelers across Europe.
“With the resumption of the connection between Frankfurt and Antigua and Barbuda we offer our guests another great option to enjoy their holiday in this beautiful country. We are delighted to continue our strong partnership with Antigua and Barbuda. The new A330-900neo with the new Business Class is the perfect product for this wonderful destination”, said Oliver Feess, Condor’s Senior Manager of Network Planning, in a release.
The flights will be operating weekly on Tuesdays.

A roundtrip fare in Economy Light runs for as low as $639.98, according to Condor’s website.
