PADUCAH — Looking for a good book? The Friends of the McCracken County Public Library book sale has plenty!
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on November 8 and from 9 a.m. to noon on November 9, you can find “over 15,000 books and audiovisual materials” for sale at the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
According to the Library, prices are as follows:
- Hardback and trade paperback books will be $2.00
- Regular paperback books will be 50 cents
- DVDs and audiobooks will be $1.00 each
- Special edition books will be priced individually
Proceeds from this event will benefit the McCracken County Public Library collection development and services. The Library states that over the 30 years that the Friends of the McCracken County Public Library have been holding Book Sales, “Library administration has used some of the thousands of dollars donated by the Friends to improve information access as well as enhancing the library’s summer reading programs.”
