Mahindra Group appoints Meenakshi Priyam as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Automotive Business, effective November 1, 2024.
This appointment comes after Meenakshi’s successful tenure as Group CHRO at Udaan.com, where she played a pivotal role in building the e-commerce B2B organization.

Meenakshi Priyam: Background and Expertise
Meenakshi began her professional journey as a deputy manager at Axis Bank in June 2002.
She later joined Watson Wyatt as a consultant and then moved to Yes Bank as a senior manager, where she was one of the first 50 employees of the bank.
Her career also includes stints at Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where she held various leadership roles in human resources.
At Johnson & Johnson, Meenakshi Priyam worked her way up from senior HR business partner to regional HR director for the Asia-Pacific region.
She then moved to Novartis, where she served as head of HR for global product strategy and commercialization. Working at Novartis, Meenakshi was based in Switzerland.
At GSK, she was the head of HR for India and South Asia. Later she was elevated to CHRO India and global HR head for classic and established products.
Meenakshi joined Udaan.com as Group CHRO in August 2020 and helped build the organization over four years.
Her efforts were instrumental in expanding the company’s reach across India and enabling the Indian MSME segment with technology.
She also served as the chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at the Bombay CCI since 2022.
