National Company Industrial Zones (NCIZ) under the Ministry of Economy and Industry has attracted an investment of BGN 30 million from the production company Solent Film LTD. The investor will create 40 permanent and nearly 1,000 temporary jobs, the Ministry press office reported on Wednesday.
The company will build a film centre in the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park on a site of over 30,000 sq m. The contract will be signed at the end of November.
Solent Film shoots commercials, music and film projects. It is an established market leader both in Bulgaria and in Eastern Europe. The company has carried out numerous large-scale international projects, which has contributed to establishing Bulgaria as a popular destination for shooting digital content.
