• The Loyalhannon Spinners Guild will host a free display of some of their finished works and the raw fleece and tools used to get wool ready for spinning through Nov. 14 during regular operating hours at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg. Membership in the group is open to anyone who is interested in spinning, weaving, knitting, felting, crocheting, rug hooking, basket weaving and other fiber arts. Church News
• Greensburg Church of the Brethren will host a night of fun and fellowship for individuals and groups with developmental disabilities from 5 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the church, 554 Stanton St., Southwest Greensburg. • Penn Area Library will have a book sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at the library, 2001 Municipal Court, Harrison City. Items for sale will include books, puzzles, movies and audio books. Proceeds will support library programs and materials. Details: 724-744-4414.

• Westmoreland Historical Society will hold its annual members meeting at 1 p.m. Nov. 9 at the education center, 809 Forbes Trail Road, Hempfield. Butler native Jason A.
