CURWENSVILLE — Last year, Curwensville Public Library changed the dates of its annual winter book sale to coincide with Curwensville Merchants Association’s Home for the Holidays celebration.
It was a successful swap and plans are to again hold it during the Home for the Holidays event.
This year’s dates are Thursday, Nov. 14; Friday, Nov. 15; and Saturday, Nov. 16. The sale is held at the library located at 601 Beech St., Curwensville. The hours Thursday and Friday, are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday’s hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sale is a cooperative event between the library and General Federation of Women’s Clubs Curwensville Woman’s Club.
Home for the Holidays will be held at participating downtown Curwensville businesses Nov. 14-16

“While the library prefers fiction books, we are happy to accept nonfiction books including biographies, true crime books, or historical works. We are also accepting cookbooks however knitting or quilting books will not be accepted,” Holland said,
