Qatar Tourism (QT) has signed three cooperation agreements, aiming to expand its international partnerships and strengthen Qatar’s position as a global tourism destination.
The agreements were signed on the sidelines of its participation in the World Travel Market 2024, a flagship trade show and conference that gathers travel professionals, government officials, and industry experts to share ideas, network and explore new business opportunities.
Qatar Tourism signed a cooperation agreement with the Celestyal Cruises. The agreement was signed by Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, on behalf of Qatar Tourism, and Lee Haslett, Chief Operating Officer, representing Celestyal Cruises’ management.
During the event, Qatar Tourism also concluded a cooperation agreement with the Kazunion Rustar tourism company, which was signed by Omar Abdulrahman Al-Jaber, Head of Tourism Development Sector, and CEO of the Kazunion Rustar tourism company.
The third agreement was signed with Expedia. Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, and Rob Torres, Senior Vice President of Expedia, signed the agreement.
The State of Qatar, represented by Qatar Tourism (QT), is taking part in the exhibition, which is currently being held with wide international participation. During Qatar’s participation, the latest developments in the nation’s tourism sector were presented, as it leads a delegation of 33 partners from the tourism sector and four partner institutions.
The Visit Qatar pavilion, the marketing and promotional arm of Qatar Tourism, extends over two floors, and has a group of top-tier hotels, in addition to a number of tourism destination management companies and top institutions in the hospitality sector.
Qatar Airways, Discover Qatar, Katara Hospitality, and Qatar Calendar are also participating in supporting the pavilion and strengthening Qatar’s presence in the flagship global event.
