The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office says the e-bikes were valued at over $120,000.
NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A North Highlands business has been burglarized three different times, resulting in over $120,000 of stolen property, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said the burglaries happened in the span of 10 days during overnight hours. About 100 e-bikes were stolen across the three burglaries, but only 12 of them were recovered and returned to the business, the sheriff’s office said.
The remaining 88 missing e-bikes are ALKI brand motorized bicycles. The sheriff’s office said the e-bikes were custom ordered in two distinct color patterns, which haven’t been sold anywhere in the United States.
The stolen e-bikes were described as having either a black and neon green or red patterns. All of the stolen e-bikes have three-spoke wheels.
