Books of Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov in Azerbaijani language presented at National Library
AKIPRESS.COM – The National Library named after Alykul Osmonov hosted a presentation of the book by Kyrgyz poet Alykul Osmonov “Zamandan Zamanga”, translated into Azerbaijani language, on November 7.
The poet’s works were translated by Azerbaijani writer and researcher of the epic “Manas” Adil Jamil, the Ministry of Culture reported..
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Gulbara Abdykalykova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan Latif Seyfaddin oglu Gandilov, writers, cultural figures and representatives of international organizations.
Abdykalykova noted that the translation of the works of national poets contributes to promotion of cultural values among peoples.
