With the belief that Kanguva is expected to cash on the weekend and earn more, as per reports, the film’s early estimates suggest that Kanguva has collected only Rs 9 crore in India across languages.

One of the major flaws pointed out by audience include the extremely loud soundscape of the film, with many complaining of headaches. Producer Gnanavelraja of Studio Green which backed the film, in a recent press event said that the team will be reducing the sound by two points.
Gnanavelraja also addressed that the film’s sequel will happen as soon as Siva completes his next project. It is to be noted that Kanguva ends on a tease about the conflict between the dual characters played by Suriya, and the cameo roles played by his brother and actor Karthi.
