2 at St. Peter’s receive Bee Awards
St. Peter’s Health presented Bee Awards to Diagnostic Imaging Receptionist Becky Birchmier and Ambulatory Clinic Pharmacist Andrew Glueckert, PharmD.
A companion to the Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses, the Bee Award is given to any exceptional general or professional St. Peter’s staff member nominated by patients, family members and/or colleagues.
The patient who nominated Birchmier said, “Becky really seems to care for everyone who comes to the diagnostic imaging center. Thank you for an outstanding visit.”
Another patient said, “I had three appointments spread out today. She was so kind and went above and beyond to get them moved together in one time period.”
Birchmier has been with St. Peter’s since 2010.

The colleague who nominated Glueckert, who started working at St. Peter’s in 2018, wanted to recognize him for helping coordinate the care and labs of patients who needed infusions.
“Without Andrew’s coordination the patient would be taking up a needed bed and would place the patient at risk for hospital acquired infections. He went above and beyond to keep the patient safe and was a positive team player that never once made me feel like he was too busy, or it wasn’t his problem to deal with.”
